1.     Participants will be required to attend an NA/AA meeting every day for the first 90 days of the program regardless of amount of time in recovery. One of those weekly meetings needs to be a step meeting. During the 90-in-90 period each resident must attend at least 4 in person meetings. After 90 days participants must attend a meeting daily for at least 5 days of each week, 3 of those meetings much be in person.  

2.     Participants will be required to show verified sponsor within 30 days of intake and have verifiable home group with service position in home group.

3.     Participants who fail to meet intake criteria after 45 days will be placed on Preventative Protocol.

4.     Participants will be expected to pay program fee of $200-$250 per week depending on room and location, with the first and last week due at intake. Program fees are forfeited if participants are discharged for noncompliance or self-discharge without a two-week notice, no refunds will be given. Your last week of residence will be prorated. You must provide a two weeks’ notice when moving on.

5.     If a resident is behind on his/her program fees they are required to show picture proof of income (paystub, SSI/SSDI, or any other sources) on a weekly basis and send to Management.

6.     You are responsible for providing and preparing your own meals.

7.     Participants will have weekly house meetings and attendance is mandatory.

8.     Participants will have daily chores that will be rotated on a weekly basis.

9.     Participants are not allowed to have visitors in the homes.

10.  Participants collecting SSDI/SSI will be required to fulfill volunteer hours, based on individual’s ability, and/or work part time.  Participants on CHP or other forms of funding must also volunteer if they are not working. WMRH does not encourage isolation.

11.  Participants will be required to attend outside therapy on a weekly basis.  Staff will assist participants in finding a therapist and psychiatrist if needed.

12.  Participants will need to establish primary care physician. Program director is available to assist in this area.

13.  We make reasonable accommodations based on individual needs.

14.  Participants will be drug screened at random. Failure to comply with drug screen can result in immediate discharge. If participant appears under the influence, they can be asked to leave regardless of screening results.

15.  No smoking or vaping in the house. Smoking is permitted in designated smoking areas only.

16.  Participants will be responsible for keeping their personal areas clean, including making beds and taking off shoes when entering the building.

17.  Curfew will be as follows: Sunday-Thursday 11 P.M. and Friday and Saturday at 12 A.M. Anyone on probation/parole must follow whichever curfew is earlier.

18.  Participants are eligible for two overnights per week, pending approval. Overnights must be requested in a group text to Volunteer Peer Leaders as well as Jaimie D’Alessandro and Keith Anderson. Overnights will only be considered for approval if all fees are up to date, chores are completed, and daily criteria is being met.  

19.  Participants are encouraged to visit the local recovery support center and obtain a recovery coach.

20.  White Mountains Recovery Homes are abstinent based homes. Medication Assisted Recovery is accepted.

21.  If participants are employed and find a new job opportunity, a proper notice (generally two weeks) is required before leaving original place of employment. WMRH operates in small communities, and we must show responsibility and respect to our community partners.

22.  Participants that want to have a vehicle must have valid registration, inspection, insurance, and license to operate. Must have permission from management prior to bringing vehicle to property. Parking is available on the property. Residents are not allowed to stay in the vehicle while on property and vehicles are not to be left running. Residents are responsible for regular vehicle maintenance and upkeep, including oil spills or other fluids. In the winter months, those with vehicles on the property are responsible for clearing snow from around the vehicle as well as the snow on their car. All snow must be cleared to an area away from the driveway and walkways.

23.  Fighting, threatening or aggressive behaviors can result in immediate discharge. Also, poor attitude can result in revisiting commitment to WMRH. All residents must be shown respect and have the right to live in a safe environment.

24.  We do not accept individuals with sex offenses and/or arsons. WMRH can ask individuals to provide copies of their criminal background.

25.  If for any reason a medical issue arises you must speak with WMRH before considering taking a medication. If you take a narcotic medication without first discussing with WMRH you will be asked to leave. The only exception to this is if you are unable to respond in an emergency.

26.  No poppy seeds are allowed.

27.  All cold medications must be approved by management.

28.  Room searches can be requested at any time with participants present. If participants have a vehicle, or other possessions on property, it can be searched as well. Prohibited items include drugs and/or alcohol, paraphernalia, weapons of any kind, inhalants, and household products being used in any manner outside of its intended use. Consequences range from loss of privileges to discharge, at the discretion of WMRH staff.

29.  All residents must remain abstinent from illicit drugs and alcohol. Participants will be discharged from program for violation. Re-admissions will be on a case-by-case review, not everyone will qualify for re-admission.

30.  The burning of candles, wax melts and incense burning is strictly forbidden. Failure to comply with this rule will be treated the same as smoking within the residence.

31.  All residents have the right to be treated with respect and dignity.

32.  Participants that have been discharged have 7 days to gather belongings otherwise they will be donated.

33.  If a resident comes to WMRH pregnant or becomes pregnant while in the home, they must work to secure alternate housing by the end of the second trimester. WMRH is unable to provide a shelter component to children of any age.

34.   Good Neighbor Policy: At WMRH we pride ourselves on giving back to the

 community. We are to treat all neighbors with respect. If a neighbor or anyone else outside of WMRH has questions or concerns, please refer them to management. You agree to not disclose any information about fellow participants. Please keep language appropriate and noise to a reasonable level and keep all WMRH locations clean and free from trash. You represent WMRH and are expected to behave as such at all times, refraining from negatively speaking about other recovery homes/communities or differences of recovery pathways.

35.  We are a family run program, and we encourage participation in local community events. We have gatherings often and we encourage participants to be involved (conventions, campouts, cookouts, dinners etc.). Since we strive to maintain a family recovery atmosphere, we want all participants to provide peer support for each other and others in the recovery community.
